These barns were torn down a few years ago

 to make way for a sports bar family restaurant.

This is progress in the 21st century.

Walk around the pond in the park

This afternoon i took a walk in the city park around the pond.

The colors were good and the weather was mild,

until the clouds rolled in over the city.

Later in the day we received some rain.

It wasn't bad though,

after all it is Autumn.

Soon enough the trees will shed all the colors,

then the cold weather will be with us for a few months.

A country drive

Yesterday I  went for a drive in the country in the afternoon.

A pond at Metro Park - Fall 2012

Yesterday while going for a hike at a Metro Park I recorded some images of the pond.
Colors this Fall are good at the park.

Oct. 6, 2012 - A walk thru the woods at Metro Park

After two days of rain and cold weather I managed to get out to Metro Park.
The colors were great today as Fall 2012 is here in all its splendor.
The hike thru the woods took about an hour but it was an hour
 well spent this afternoon.
