Falls Creek Falls - Tennessee

The back story to these images is that

I decided to climb down the rocks

 to the base of the water falls

to get a better look at the canyon.

The problem with climbing down is

 the climb back to the top of the canyon

 to get to the car.

The climb back up the rocks to the top of the ridge
took a lot more time and energy
 than when I climbed down to the bottom
of the Fall Creek Falls!
